mmmm. They can only supply what they have got on the shelf at the moment. Nobody will supply them. We noticed weeks ago lack of parts and not being able to supply any other brands.

If ECP get hold of them - who knows whats next. Dump the brand and use uniparts network?

I personally think if ECP get hold of Unipart, it wont be good for us as traders and even worse for Unipart employees.

John Moulton would probably be the best bet.
Rumour has it that QH are interested.

So what are UCCC now using as soft ware instead of KISS.
We have been offered a package with ECP but would be interested in what others are doing.

Andrew Page are now supporting KiS alongside their other two systems, also seen Unipart part numbers coming up on their online ordering

We have changed over to the ECP system. It is identical to Kis in usage, but using Ecp is not as good an experience as when we used Unipart.
Deliveries are an issue, good to start with, now dropping off and sometimes having to wait up to 4 hours for parts deliveries.
We have spoken to them and it improved, but yesterday ordered some parts at 08.20, on line, and they turned up at 12.10.
We do have a Motor Parts Direct opening soon, with the ex branch manager and staff of Unipart, where is that Ecp Autowork contract??

Forgot to say, Andrew Page contacted us just over a week after Unipart shut there doors.
our nearest AP/Camberley Auto factors is over 20 miles away, and no mention was made of deliveries, we already use them for some parts, but only get 2-3 deliveries a day.
By the time they contacted us we had already signed up for the ECP system which does give us continuity as far as a garage system goes.
Ecp seem to have done exactly what everybody said they would, promise the earth and deliver it, but once they have you concentrate on there next victim

If they had stop of terminated UCCC's which where spending any thing between £24,000 to £200,000 p.a
that mite of helped. I can not under stand any automotive parts supplier not wanting to trade with any garage repair business at this time.

Well it looks like we will sign up with ECP as we do use them a fair bit anyway and will enable us to keep our kiss system going.
Concerned over the amount and quality of parts ECP offer so could make estimating more difficult however we shall give it a go as not sure of another alternative at this time.
Heard nothing from Andrew Page so presume not operating in north east Essex.

Just been in contact with unipart/partco at our local Colchester branch and they have now been taken over by AP and should have the system back up and running by the end of today.
So it seems we have a choice ?
