Dear All
As you all probably know by now it's that time of year where I hijack this forum briefly to ask once again for your support for a good cause.
On Sunday 13th September, Louise & I will be running the Great North Run for the 15th time. Each year we raise money for a charity and this year it is for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
All the details on why we've chosen this charity and what they do for people is on our Virgin Money Giving web page if you could all just take a quick moment to have a look and hopefully make a donation would be appreciated.
Each year we ask and each year we are overwhelmed by everyone's generosity, so thank you very much.
Regards
Sean & Louise
P.S. I can't say this will be the last time because while we can still get ourselves round the 13.1 miles and generous people are happy to support us, we'll keep doing it!!!
Although it was rather a warmer day than expected we both completed our 15th Great North Run. Louise had to start the race with a migraine but carried on and finished only 4 minutes slower than last year so very happy with that. I managed to knock another minute of my best previous time for this course so did it just under 1 hour 34 minutes (well 1 second under!) so also very pleased.
However, we are both happy for the super support we have had from all our supporters and know that we will raise a considerable amount for Macmillan.
Big thanks as always go to Dave, Nigel, Mike & Karen for their generous donations.
We've updated our Virgin MoneyGiving webpage with a photo taken at the end with our medals.
