R134 air con gas price hike #

Has anyone else noticed a recent price hike on this gas, last time we bought some it was £60, now our local suppliers are wanting £240-£260?

I was paying around £100 a bottle last year.My usual supplier wants £225+ now.So who is going to recharge a system now for £40???

Unfortunately ALL the refrigerant gases have gone up in heaps in all areas/industries of refrigeration

We run a fleet of refrigerated vehicles and run commercial freezers and fridges and when things go wrong it can be very very expensive

There doesn't seem to be any answers from the decision makers either
