Sorry to be so long in answering your kind offer but I have been waiting to see what the outcome of what I have done has been.
After cleaning out the breather pipes, throttle housing and changing the air flow meter just over 450 miles of driving only fault code that returns is P1555. Driveability is fine no stalling or fluffing around at idle. So I may well contact you within the next couple of weeks to try checking the programme update as you offered. Failing that its looking like a throttle body change.
