I don't believe the Subaru's used a Titania sensor, I believe it was just a heated Zirconia Sensor BUT I could be wrong
If the vehicle is RICH and the O2 sensor signal is LOW (0.3v)and not switching, then you most likely have a dead or dying sensor be it Titania or Zirconia sensor OR an air leak in the exhaust very close to the sensor.
