Hi,

We have got a golf here and everytime it starts it cuts out, just like the immobiliser is cutting in.

We have code read the vehicle and code P1570 Engine ECU blocked is present. I done a quick google and understand this is the code for immobiliser having cut in at some point but doesn't mean that this is the fault.

The key symbol is still present on the dash so i am assuming that the immobiliser is still cutting in. The keys are the original keys so there should be no reason for this.

Is there any way to reset the immobiliser or is there a common fault that would cause this??
