Hi mark, i did include vehicle details on my origional post, but its a citroen xsara picasso 1.6 nfv TU engine. there are no running faults at all, although this vehicle has already been to two other places for uneven idle (one of which was the dealer).
car now runs perfectly for me,
if i clear the code it will log straight away in the ecu as soon as it starts, flags warning lamp on dash after third start up,
at present im using modis until my new dec arrives
