Alfa Romeo 3.2 V6 2004 - MIL on P0300 random misfire #

Hi guys, car was brought in running slightly rough (no mil lights on)and for a cambelt change, did the cambelt/waterpump using the correct alfa tools to set timing etc. when road tested the engine management light came on and scanning showed codes po 300 random missfire 301 cyl 1 missfire 302 cyl 2 303 cyl 3. as these are all on the same bank ie rear nearest bulkhead then i assumed i had done something wrong, i stripped it all down checked timing etc and all ok. the only thing thats puzzling me is there is an earth point on the inlet manifold and the bolt is 6 mm but the wire is 8 mm and it seems to me its wrong but its where i remember it being i think (you know how you start to doubt yourself) renewed plugs and car went well i did 40 miles no problem, handed back the car she did approximatelly 100 miles with no problems and then the light came back on. same codes, got car back as the rad burst through corrosion have renewed that but still got the same missfire, ok when started up and after warm up it comes on and runs noticeably rougher, light comes on and goes out sometimes she sounds like on 5 cylinders , live data looks ok from what i can read on the snapon solus. i am so fed up itsa been a nightmare since i opened the bonnet (wont bore youwith the details) We are being blamed and i am at a loss why all 3 cyls on the same bank, cannot find a air leak or any wires off either. but why did it do 150 miles ok?? If you rev the crap out of it the idle seems better for a while, fueling seems ok the lambdas are reading any thoughts appreciated. marino
