Customer fitted coil pack (valeo) to cure mis-fire. The day after, vehicle suffers from very high idle hang-up anything from 2 - 8000 rpm depending on how fast it was going before slowing down. All checks including emmissions are fine and no fault codes stored. Cleaned iscv and throttle body and fault is still there. No idle hang up when revved in neutral. Unable to road test car with ACR4 connected due to poor diagnostic connecter resulting in lost comms. Normally, I would replace ISCV which normally cures the fault but I have a feeling there is a connection with the fitting of the coil pack. I believe Sagem ecu's have "issues" and trawling the archives I have seen something similar which was down to an ECU problem. Going to suggest changing ISCV as first option but warning customer of a potential ECU fault. Would appreciate your thoughts.
