Hi, We have in a mitsubishi carisma, when its started it rev's between 2500 and 3000 rpm and the throttle is non responsive. The ecu stored several codes ranging from fuel pressure sensor to several tracks on the tps sensors. Initially we checked both throttle sensors (pedal and throttle body) on scope and found them to be working within range. After several other checks I performed I desided to take out the ecu and visually check the mother board. With not much suprise i found a bridge conector to be burnt out. We sent the ecu away for repair and when it came back we refitted it and had exactly the same problem of reving. The ecu came back out and back to the repairers. A few days later we had a call and was told it had burnt the same bridge out again which is the 5v supply for the sensors. The car has been parked outside for the past couple of weeks as we havent had time or workshop space to look indepth at it. Any help would be welcomed, thanks.
