Hi guys,

Vehicle is difficult to start from hot or cold occasionally (2-3 times a week). Scanned ECU fault codes logged B1342 ECU is faulted and U0155 CAN communication instrument cluster.

I checked with Ford technical and they said that the U0155 could be a problem with the Instrument cluster and would cause the non-start problem.
The B1342 code could be water ingress in the n/s fuse box (which I checked and was bone dry.)which is unlikely to cause a starting issue
This fault is so intermittent it's difficult to find anything wrong. I've checked condition of battery, plugs, fuel pressure and live data, this is a very well looked after car which is over serviced if anything and drives really great otherwise.
Any idea's greatly appreciated.
