I suspect I have a faulty new O2 sensor on this one but I would like to clarify my findings.
On live data the O2 sensor voltage sits constantly at about 0.6v at idle. If you rev the engine hard the voltage does not increase but, as you let the throttle off, it will momentarily decrease. It then returns to 0.6v.
Am I right in thinking this sensor should switch/react in the normal way?
I have tested the voltage at the sensor to confirm the ECU is reporting an accurate reading. The reason I'm a bit uneasy is that there are five wires on the multiplug.
The emmisions are sitting at 0.55% co, 1.06 Lambda, 1.8% O2 & 14.1 CO2.
The customer also reports a loss of power on hills when the fuel level is low - I wondered about a faulty pump but the fuel pressure is steady at 35psi
Someone else diagnosed the sensor as faulty but I don't know what readings they got.
Thanks in advance - Paul.
