Went to this vehicle last week which was seriously over-fuelling (CO at idle and fast idle in excess of 9.9%) and running poorly. Fault codes stored related to MAF and HO2 sensors. Poor scope on MAF resulted in MAF being changed by owner with Fuel Parts item. This took EML light out and ran better but service light came on. Returned today to have a look and found numerous fault codes (24!). Cleared all down and P1106 (unknown code) returns only when vehicle is driven. Vehicle stalls and appears to be lacking in power. Emissions at idle are perfect but slightly high on CO at fast idle at 0.6%. All other gases are ok. P1106 was not there on first visit but appeared when new MAF was fitted. Research tonight tells me this fault code could be either MAP sensor (why does this have MAP sensor when it has a MAF?), Turbo Boost Control or blocked CAT. Any ideas? Front Lambda sensor is occaisonally sticking a bit high on 800mv at fast idle. Customer is going to remove and clean Lambda sensor tomorrow. Vehicle was re-mapped a few months ago (not by me). All thoughts gratefully received.
