I think you mean MAF sensor not m.a.p sensor.
All I can say to you is that I'd fit a MAF for this problem and be 99% sure it would sort it out. It's difficult to check a Mercedes MAF in live data because of the rev limit when stationery but you might still get some evidence to reassure you that you have a MAF fault. You could also try running the car with the MAF disconnected and see if the symptoms change. This doesn't always show a conclusive result however.
There are a whole range of other potential causes of your symptoms ranging from contaminated fuel, HT leads, coils, low fuel pressure, air leaks and so on BUT I'd try a MAF if I were you.
