Yes I do use Tech 2 and have been using it for the last 6 yrs.
Tis 2000 WILL download the "Promgram" to the wrong ECU, it just depends on certain parameters, I know I have the T shirt.
Double check and cross reference the supplied ECU Pt no with the orignal one you are replacing and as Mike says check CAN configuration.
