Year of Manufacture *: sept 2000
Engine Code or Type *: M 43 B 19
( Optional ) Scanner used: Autocom
Found fault code p0170 displayed, Carried out basic checks, smoke tested ok(exh & inlet) so ruled out no external leaks .
Checked gas readings and all well within specs , forgot to bring printout home but as far as i can remember o2 .2 , co2 15.4 , hc 20 , co 0.00
On live data noticed long term fuel trim 20% so was thinking towards the line of ccv valve sticking open intermittently .Checked hose to ccv will req changing as its getting on the soft side although not collapsed
I looked on previous posts and ccv valve was mentioned for fuel trim errors and also maf sensor .Couldn't get laptop on to scope maf today .
So question is: am i on the right direction thinking ccv valve sticking causing fuel trim errors or potential maf sensor fault ? what would be an ideal voltage/ scope trace for maf on this model ?.
Add: lamda sensor looks like a ying tong , ecp sourced apparently
Regards to all
John
