Car comes in running rich as a bugger.O2 flat lined at 0v on kts.Lambda was reacting VERY irratically when given an air leak and when clamping fuel line return.
Changed 02 sensor(original very crusty) and now have reliable switching and reacts as i would expect to 'outside assistence'.
Told owner to run over weekend.
Comes back today.Lasted 5 days before EML on(40AC-Bank 1 mixture too rich).
Sure enough Additive correction is -18%,though Multiplicative is 9.4%.
Fuel pressure is normal(2.5bar)and had the injectors out to check for leakage.Have noticed 02 trace when taken off the back of the sensor is bias to over 0.5v.(See link, cant seem to get pic onto post)
Interesting to note that KTS shows switching bitween 0 and 0.7v.
Ok may be as its running rich, but want to make sure its not down to poor earth reference.
Question is which connection do i ground. The only sensor earth i can see is the heater circuit neg wire.Surely this wont affect O2 switching?
