Hi, looking at autodata the wiring diagram suggests that the car runs a speed sensor on the gear box and probably hall effect type. There does not seem to be a connection to ABS , i have not had any dealings with the 2.0 but i would be volt drop test the wiring to the sensor especially the earth.
