Evening all,

After a bit more rooting about on the tinterweb last night, I found that this car is one of a few that does not power up the fuel pump with ignition on. Armed with this info, I revisited the vehicle this morning and measured the voltage at the pump under cranking conditions. This produced the relevant voltage feed and proved the pump was u/s. Pump has now been changed and the good (and very deletactable) lady was on her way.

Always thought that pump runs or primes on KOEO but that is not the case and maybe should know better. Anyway, lesson learnt. Thanks Les for your interest.
