having had new catalytic converter & sensors-are they genuine vw parts?these dislike pattern parts.also the egr was changed-recheck the the pipes around egr for air leaks or maybe cracked & finally smoke test & vacuum test all the small vacuum pipes,this fault may have already been there in form of a small misfire.
