hi Aidan thanx for your input my egr is electric first thing i checked was the servo pipes all ok i am thinking about this breather pipe, well on the left as you take the air filter box off the oil breather pipe which looks ok but lower down it does connect to a platic box which is bolted at the back if engine is that the vacuum valve. if so does it work like on the bmw's.
