Afternoon all
We have the above astra with recurring misfire problems. It came in a couple of weeks ago with the above fault codes all relating to misfiring, so we changed the coil pack with a Delphi unit from CAF, cleared the faults and tested. The same codes came back, so we sourced a genuine coil pack from Vauxhall and genuine plugs.The same faults were recorded again so we sent the ECU for testing. It came back all clear.
The texa and snappy will only read EOBD for this engine, but if we go into it as a Z16XE we can get parameters and actuation which are all seemingly ok. The injectors can be operated with the engine running to test them as can the EGR valve. Oxygen sensor values are ok and temp sensors.
This is now becoming a right head scratcher and I wondered if anyone else has experience of this problem as it is always the same bunch of codes each time. When driving the car on very light throttle it does seem hesitant
