This car bogs down under acceleration. It starts fine and idles ok. When you accelerate it is ok until about 2000 rpm and then it flattens out until about 3000 rpm and then drives ok. This happens every time and you can drive through it, however it is quite dangerous if you are trying to pull out of a side turning. It does not appear to be missing at that time.
There are no fault codes logged, I have checked fuel pressure and flow [sorry cant remember specs] this was ok.
Used Smoke-pro [ok]
On the Pico I have checked both O2 sensors [ok], throttle pedal TPS [ok] Ignition coil [ok], Charging system [ok]. The garage has changed the MAP which I also checked [ok],
They have also replaced the throttle body with a brand new one. When I watch the throttle peddle TPS against the throttle body TPS you can see the 'flat' time on the Pico. It appears on the duty cycle from the engine ECU to the throttle body that the ECU is demanding the throttle to open more, but it doesn't.
Does anyone know if the new throttle body need to be aligned and if so what is the correct procedure?
Not sure where to go from here, I would be great full for any insight into this.
Regards
Simon
