I have now replaced the cambelt and dephaser and it has indeed solved the problem. I was a bit surprised as I felt that this was going to be the actuator solenoid shorting to earth because of my captures posted on Mar 28th. The customer asked me to replace the dephaser because it was due for a cambelt anyway.
