sorry mark i dont have a scope, but should the throttle housing butterfly flap open and close when accelerator pedal depressed with the ignition on, as i am suspecting ecu not powering actuators.read in TECH TOPICS about prblems with VAG group vehicles having problems with relays30 209 but this doesnt seem to have them but has one numbered 409.
