Hi All, This well looked after car with 76000 miles loses power under load at 5000 revs.(complete cut off) The code P1093
'fuel measuring system 2 malfunction'. I do not have a guage to measure this high pressure system. Measured low pressure side and that is to spec. After researching this fault it is pointing towards a worn camshaft to fuel pump cam follower. I removed the pump and follower and although there are markings on follower bucket, it does not seem that bad. There are three lobes on the camshaft and all seem to be OK.I will put another follower in when I can get the part. Has anyone come accross this fault before as it does seem to be a problem with this engine and if so, what was the outcome.
