hi techs sorry going back to 1982 picked up porsche non runner for the last two years done the plugs changed petrol and filter charged battery got it running runs okay till warm but starts to lose power at 2000 to full revs have noticed exhaust manifold glowing red hot k jectronic system looks okay and can adjust mixture but timing looks to far advanged with timing light connected this system is dtic controller so timing cannot be adjusted have scoped crank sensor looks okay but no cut out point looked on flywheel takes its signal off the ring gear but no sign of reference point cannot be right controler needs to know when to fireat no 1 cyl anyone had any dealings with this type of car same engine as audi thanks bill
