A bit of an unknown, 120,000 miles.
Customer informed us that he had it remapped at a reputable company originally, then for some reason 'his mate had a go'. Apparently the problem has been there for some time, but I take this with a pinch of salt.
Cam/Crank sensors both allegedly replaced ( we changed cam sensor ), but no sub harness on the cam.
Im just trying to rule out any other ECU inputs that will influence the ECU ignition request in this fashion, then rule out cam/crank at ECU before condemning ECU itself.
Any suggestions appreciated, car is due back in this week for further diagnostic.
