Being absent would certainly generate a fault code though!
The thing that is puzzling me is the vac pipe that looks like it is coming from the charcoal filter that vanishes into the fuse box! If that is not part of the evap system, what is it??
It is not some sort of bodge BTW it has clearly come out of the factory like that.
