Hi

We have a low mileage 207 year 2007 1.4 vti ,car came in non start but it was just upset car started and ran with new plugs in it, test drove 20 miles all ok. Next day customer came back saying he had a misfire read code p1390 cylinder 4 combustion misfire. Wwe replaced coil pack and swapped injector over, road tested same fault came back. Bought timing chain locking kit and checked timing all ok. Removed and sent ecu for testing came back inconclusive,could only test 99% of it.

Checked wiring loom all seems fine, starting to think its ecu but at £600+vat and we don't have auto logic french as yet a big step to take,wonder if anybody as any ideas.
when it misfires ecu does stop firing injector.
