When I follow the actuator function instructions on the solus ultra it displays the pre cat O2 sensor voltages, it then actuates the air pump and solenoid valve. The O2 sensors react almost instantly. It only activates the pump for around 3 seconds or so but it's long enough to see the sensors react. The fault didn't occur this morning for some reason, typical.
I was just looking at the freeze frame data I captured when the car came in initially. The fault occurred when the car was stationary and the engine was at 79 degrees. Would the pump also be activated when it's warm briefly and the ecu monitors the O2 sensors to make sure they react as a means of checking the system is working ok?
