I have a similar fault on a scenic, only code relating to dephaser, replaced belt and dephaser using correct locking tools, engine wouldn't start, refitted old dephaser engine started with original faults got a new dephaser and fitted same again no start, scoped actuator looks ok but don't have a known good sample, cross checked part numbers. I've had to put the job on the back burner for now but will post if I come across anything.
