Hello everyone, just looking for a bit of info on this one,
Audi A3 2.0 fsi BWA engine, quite noisey on tick over, coming from the gearbox size of the head where the chain is,
understand that the chain tensioner plastic head brakes off or wears away and then you get the noises,
is it just a case of new tensioner and chain, gasket etc, or does it do damaged to the teath on the sprockets, also does the cam adjuster need replacing?
just one last thing does this fault have bearing on the oil being supplied to the cam shafts at all?
