Renault megane 1997 1600cc AOF - No comms with ECU Archived Message

No comms,tried giving good earths to both body ground and signal ground.battery voltage good.
Tried auto diagnos,shuts down with message programme error,snap on scanner just says no communication.Can not get into any systems.
It has a after market radio fitted,could this cause problem,must be a problem with k line i think.Has anyone had similar problems,nothing in archives.
Any suggestions greatly recieved.
