    Hi Simon. The fault code that you have listed, is for glow plug circuit fault. So have you checked the glow plugs. ?? But the main problem with these Astra's is the Ecu on the pump, If it is faulty, I think it logs a fault for spill valve, But if you look at live data, it shows spill valve inactive, it will not start in this mode, it needs spill valve Active, to allow it to run. If this is your problem, Remove the Ecu off the pumnp, remove the rear cover and have a look at the circuit board, it usually has a dirty great big dry joint, ( smack in the middle of the board). You can sometimes get away with resoldering it, but we have had one fail again due to another problem in the ecu and they are potted to stop you going any further.
