Nearly forgot to post this as fixed. Immob ecu was faulty. It shares the same k line as the engine ecu and had it shorted. One interesting think is that there was no code in the engine for immob and the immob light was going out. Even with the new parts it would not log an immob code when the wrong key was used, worth remembering in the future. I fitted a used set of key, barrel and both ecu's. Alan
