Paul Kevin is correct the pump is on the O/S under the seat, the pickup is clipped into the tank and there is a syphonic return from the N/S tank to the O/S tank, if you remove the cover off the N/S you will find a filter housing this comes apart but if you push it back together and twist it make sure the O ring inside hasn't moved, the pumps do come apart as well as the filter housing so worth checking both.
