yes the info was ok thanks. after checking the system and finding nothing wrong sent original and new alternator to a local rebuilder for testing. Turned out the the alternator we were supplied as a replacemant was incorrect, it looked identical to the removed unit, and even when we checked with our supplier we were assured that all was ok. turned out that all was not ok the replacement unit was for a normal charging system, they had crossed the original number to bosch and thats when it went wrong, the telltale is the markings on the two terminal multiplug apparantly. i will find the difference and post here for all. fitted correct unit and all ok. our supplier has offered to cover our cost of diagnostics,as it was there cock up. atb nev
