Hi Paul, All that it normally needs to cure that problem and code is to Clean out the throttle housing around the throttle flap to allow a bit of air past when the throttle flap is shut, If a layer of oil/muck builds up then it stops it breathing properly, hence low mass air flow reading and stalling, and up pops the code, Also Make sure that the small rubber pipe from the throttle housing to the throttle body is clear and that you can blow through it into the throttle body, if it's blocked you will have to clean it out with a nozzle cleaner or a strand of wire off a wire brush. ( it's very small ) Then make sure that no one has tightened the throttle cable by pulling on it and putting the clip further down the cable. otherwise when the throttle is closed, the throttle stop doesn't touch the plunger on the isc valve and it doesn't see closed throttle and cannot control idle speed. H.T.H. Tony.
