HI been a while since i was here but this one is giving us a bit of a headache. Car came to us running rough and cutting out . been to 2 garages before us and had a new egr fitted and it does have tcs relating to the egr, however did not cure problem. there is continuity in the wires to the ecu from the egr but we have no pulse / voltage variation at the egr in line with pin data.We suspect ecu but noone seems to be able to test said ecu which as we all know testing is a bone of contension but this car is under warranty from where he bought it so before i condem ecu i need to be sure as noone will commit to pay.We have blocked egr off and it runs sweet but this is not curing the problem only masking it.any ideas would be appreciated.
