Hello Mike Have you checked to see if this is a Immobiliser fault Autodata gives example for correct key recognitionA Quick test I have used to see what the vehicle does when the key transponder is not seen/recognised is to get some kitchen foil and push the key through the center of the foil so the transponder is screened and then turn the key in the lock to see if anything else happens with MIL lights and starter motor circuits HTH Terry
