Hi there... I would agree with both comments above re water ingress. I had one about a month ago.. interestingly it was the Rear pass side floor that the customer was complaining about - they hadnt noticed the front! But, it was swimming.. water in the heater/wiring/connectors everywhere causing all sorts of problems. The water on this one was coming through the seals (loose term!) on the heater body unit. I took the lot out , discarded the seals and used a whole tube of windscreen sealer on it. (large gun tube that is ) No problems since! Carpets were a pain to dry though with 2" of insulation. Would be worth checking the box under the seat too with the body controller in it (under he carpet) that was swimming too. Course... this all assumes you do have water problems hth you Mike
