    Hi Geoff, I would think that the best thing to do with it is to check to see what type of spark plugs are fitted and replace with genuine, (especially if NGK or non resistor plugs have been fitted). If that doesn't cure it, replace coil pack. (as this needs changing anyway if ecu is faulty). If the plugs or coil cures the problem, then you are lucky, but if not, replace ecu.
