The OVP relay protects the KE injection ECU and the ABS ECU and is usually clipped to the side of the plastic box assembly behind the battery. Sometimes found under a plastic protective cover.
There is a fuse on the top of it which is often found blown when they come in complaining of poor cold starting. Replace the relay if its old. New ones are modified.
The thing to remember here is that the electronics on KE give you cold running and acceleration enrichment and overrun fuel cut off. Usually they will start and run fairly OK without any input from the ECU!
When replacing a faulty OVP relay some of my customers have been very pleased with the new performance as they have ran without a live ECU for ages.
Extended cranking faults in my experience are usually leaking injectors or faulty fuel distributors. This is providing your totally happy with the residual holding pressure.
You don't need to loose much fuel from an injector line under a hot bonnet for the pressure to drop in it and the remaining fuel to change into a gas.
KE is tricky. Many times i have missed a basic fault and wasted time. Always check for split hoses, vac leaks, ignition faults etc.
    Good Luck.
