Hi Derek,
These Vectra's suffer a lot with the idle valve and throttle body fouling up and if they stall they usually set a code for Mass Airflow meter anyway. If you haven't already, I would give the idle valve and throttle body a good clean out and see if that cures the stalling, also there's a modification to the breather system to help this problem.
