    Hi Dave, I've seen a few of these over the last few years and seems to be an ECU fault.The ECU seems to open the IACV too much at some point and wont return it.If you reset the IACV to its normal position they run ok for approx 5/7 months and then the fault returns?
    Can be done with scan tool or manually.To reset manually
    1 run the engine, disconnect the ISCV and turn the ign off.
    2 leave for a few mins and reconnect the ISCV then start the engine,if the idle is too high then repeat step 1 until idle is normal.
    This also happens when a new ISCV is fitted to the car.
    Ps the ECU can also be disconnected to reset but must be left disconnected for about 8 hours.
