Sorry for the delay with a response but took a bit of time to get it on Volvos diagnostic equipment. As ye suggested it was the electronic throttle system.There is an up grade to the software and volvo will do this on the coming Friday.They don't sound to optimistic about it working so i have tried locating a reconditioned or exchange unit that may not need a software download but with no luck. Well thanks for the help. and heres hoping for friday.Will reply after the weekend with a fix.
