Rover MGF 1800cc VVC 1998 - High idle fault, 2000 rpm and codes for coolant temp, oil temp appear Archived Message

have looked at this for another garage.
the fault is a high idle problem.starts ok then the revs will rise to around 2000rpm and fault codes for coolant temp, oil temp and iat temp sensors appears.
the sensors feeds and earths scope good as do feeds and earths at ecu. no alternator ripple, primary and ht's seem good.
all live data is fine except o2 sensor reading between 2 and 3 volts but when scoped was at 0.8v and would react to a deliberate air leak.
esi info states that there should be an opposed voltage of between .4 and .5 volts at pin 1 of 02 sensor, when tested found 0.9volts. am unsure if this means anything. ecu has been sent off for testing but was returned as ok.
before we arrange another ecu can anyone think of something else that may cause this fault. regards jez.
