New cluster fixed it!!!! Many thanks to everybody who contributed to getting a fix for this vehicle.
This was the first time I had posted a problem on here and was amazed by the amount of responses that I received.
Ford in Edinburgh charged £75.00 to retrieve the data from the old cluster and to programme it into the new one. They also wanted to charge £44.00 for putting the car on their WDS to be sure it was the cluster.
Many, many thanks again to everyone and I will most definitely use this service again.
