    Hi All,
This is my own van and as I'm mobile I don't have a warm, luxurious workshop like you lot have, and I'll be repairing on my drive! It has, I believe, a simple HP pump with immobiliser, and I'm fairly sure the problem's related to the wiring from the pump. When I separate and clean the 2 plugs mounted at the front of the pump (blue & green I think) it will sometimes start, suggesting it's the fiddling with this bit of loom has something to do with it! The flashing led middle front of dash always goes out with ignition on.
Has anyone had this before, and can they tell me the likely cause of the problem i.e. poor connection or break in wire? If it's the flying lead coming out of the pump, then it's hard to get to, and has the ubiquitous security shield around it!!
    Regards,
    Nick Bell
